slow-burn (too slow at times), atmospheric, thought-provoking, reminiscent of "the dictionary of obscure sorrows", makes you wonder if you're constantly watched by somebody else. The numbness and depressiveness of the protagonist, and the sense of existential dread are emotions I'm all too familiar with, "I was once alive".
Too time-specific (and probably a bit geographic-specific as well...). Un-relatable and very slow (to my taste at least). Found the second husband very irresponsible - yeah right dont take care yourself and die early to put your newly-wed into abyss. THANK YOU.
